Technical upgrade specialities
Our strongest upgrade work is centred on suspension, braking and drivetrain performance. Compatibility is checked first so that the finished system works correctly as a whole.
Fork and shock changes, compatible travel and specification upgrades, component fitting and practical setup support for the completed bike.
Brake systems, levers, callipers, rotors and hose installation, with correct alignment, routing and system setup.
Compatible drivetrain component changes including shifters, derailleurs, cassettes, chains, chainrings and crank components.
A controlled build process
Tell us the frame, intended use, budget and components you already own or want to use.
We review the key interfaces, specifications and any supporting parts required before agreeing the work.
We confirm what Torque will supply, what you will provide and the expected labour before the build begins.
The bike is assembled carefully, correctly torqued and checked as a complete working system.
Customer-supplied components: We are happy to work with customer-supplied frames and parts, but compatibility and condition must be checked first. Incorrect, incomplete, damaged or incompatible parts can delay the build and may require replacement components or additional labour. Any change will be agreed before proceeding.
