Performance Setup FAQs

What is the difference between suspension setup and a full-bike dial-in?

Suspension setup focuses specifically on balancing the fork and shock. A full-bike dial-in also covers cockpit position, controls, contact points, tyre pressures and the combined behaviour of the bike.

Why is suspension setup charged by the hour?

The time required depends on the suspension system, current settings, bike configuration and the issues being investigated. The £70 hourly rate covers both fork and shock.

What does the on-trail session cost?

It is quote based because location, travel, terrain, session length and the rider’s requirements all affect the scope.

Can you set up a brand-new bike?

Yes. New bikes, newly upgraded suspension and bikes that have never felt properly balanced are all suitable candidates.

What if the bike has a mechanical fault?

We will identify it before tuning continues. Repair work, servicing and replacement parts are quoted separately.

Will I receive my final settings?

Yes. The final settings are recorded so you have a useful reference for later adjustment, servicing or component changes.
