Practical wheel truing, hub-bearing work and tubeless setup for mountain bikes and e-MTBs. We assess the wheel first, explain what is realistically repairable and agree any additional parts or labour before proceeding.
Choose the closest service below, or send us photographs and a description on WhatsApp if you are unsure. Final wheel-truing classification depends on the wheel’s condition and whether the rim, spokes and nipples remain serviceable.

View wheel-truing detailsPer wheel. For roughness, play or worn hub bearings requiring workshop attention.
View hub-bearing details£25 for one wheel or £50 for a pair, subject to rim and tyre compatibility.
View tubeless detailsAll prices include VAT. Rim tape and sealant are included in the tubeless setup price. Replacement spokes, nipples, bearings, valves, tyre inserts and other parts are charged separately where required and will be agreed first.
Wheel truing corrects serviceable alignment and tension problems to help the wheel run straighter and more consistently. We inspect the wheel before classifying the work as minor or major.
Spoke and nipple replacement is undertaken only as part of a major true; replacement spokes and nipples are charged separately. Truing cannot repair a cracked, structurally damaged or excessively deformed rim. We will explain when a wheel is not safely or economically repairable.
Workshop attention for wheel hubs showing roughness, play or bearing wear. The hub is assessed first so we can confirm access, bearing condition and any replacement parts required.
The £25 price is labour only and applies per wheel. Replacement bearings are charged separately because sizes and specifications vary between hubs. Some hub designs, seized components or damaged bearing seats may require additional labour or may not be economically serviceable.
Professional tubeless setup for compatible mountain-bike and e-MTB wheels and tyres, helping create a reliable seal and practical trail-ready pressure setup.
Rim tape and sealant are included. Valves, replacement tyres and tyre inserts such as CushCore are charged separately. Tubeless success depends on compatible and serviceable rims and tyres; components that cannot hold a reliable seal may require replacement.
We assess condition before committing workshop time. If a rim, hub or tubeless combination is unsafe, incompatible or uneconomical to repair, we will explain why and recommend the most sensible next step. Parts availability or additional faults can affect turnaround and will be communicated clearly.
Specialist MTB workshop
Wheel work approached as part of the complete bike—not as an isolated adjustment—with clear limits where damaged components should be replaced rather than repeatedly corrected.
