Bluegrass Arto Knee Pads – Level 2 MTB Protection in a Shorter, Smarter Package

The Bluegrass Arto is built for riders who want genuine Level 2 Type B certified knee protection without the bulk of a full-length pad. Its half-calf construction keeps coverage focused on the kneecap, cutting excess fabric below the knee so the pad sits cleanly under long trail trousers or moves freely on warm-weather rides.

The Arto is available in five sizes: X-Small, Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large. Bluegrass have not supplied a specific measurement chart for this model. Half-calf pads are a genuine gap in most protection ranges. Riders who find full-length pads too hot, too restrictive under clothing, or simply too long for their riding position often go without – which is not a good outcome. The Arto gives those riders a Level 2 certified option that fits the brief: less pad, same protection rating. It sits well across the trail, enduro, and eMTB side of the range we serve.
