Bluegrass Legit Carbon MIPS — Full-Face Helmet for DH, Enduro & BMX

The Legit Carbon is Bluegrass's full-face helmet built for riders who compete or ride at race pace. A carbon composite outer shell keeps weight down without compromising structure, and every variant includes the MIPS-E2 Brain Protection System — one of the more advanced rotational energy management systems available in a production full-face at this level.

What It Does

Developed specifically for downhill, enduro racing, and BMX, the Legit Carbon is designed from the ground up for race-day use rather than trail riding pressed into harder duty. The helmet features 15 vents for airflow on long climbs and uplift days, and the carbon composite outer shell with EPS liner and in-mould polycarbonate construction gives you a meaningful weight saving over an all-polycarbonate shell.

Technical Insight

  • Shell: Carbon composite outer with EPS liner and in-mould polycarbonate construction
  • Protection: MIPS-E2 rotational energy management — included as standard on all variants
  • Ventilation: 15 vents
  • Disciplines: Downhill, enduro racing, BMX

Sizing Guide

The Legit Carbon is available in four sizes. Measure your head circumference and match it to the ranges below:

  • Small: 54–56 cm
  • Medium: 56–58 cm
  • Large: 58–60 cm
  • X-Large: 60–62 cm

If you are between sizes, sizing up is generally recommended for full-face helmets to allow for fit adjustment. Grey colourway is available in Small and Large; Black is available across all four sizes.

Why Torque Collective Stock This

A carbon-shelled full-face with MIPS-E2 at this level is a genuinely practical choice for riders entering DH or enduro events who want certified race-day protection without paying custom-build prices. It fits the brief for the riders we see in the workshop — people who ride hard and want a lid that keeps up.
