Continental Kryptotal Tyre – Downhill Casing SuperSoft (MTB / eMTB)
The Continental Kryptotal Front in SuperSoft compound is built for one thing—maximum front-end confidence when it matters most.
Designed specifically for front-wheel use, the tread pattern is tuned for precise steering, strong braking traction, and predictable handling across mixed terrain. On modern trail bikes and eMTBs, where speed and weight are higher, that front-end stability becomes even more critical.
The SuperSoft compound delivers exceptional grip in both dry and loose conditions, while the Downhill casing adds a reinforced structure that resists deformation under load. This is particularly relevant for eMTB riders—more weight, more torque, and harder braking all demand a more stable, durable tyre.
This is a tyre you choose when you want to push harder, commit to lines, and trust the front of the bike to hold.
Key Features
- Front-specific tread pattern for steering precision and braking control
- SuperSoft compound for maximum grip across mixed terrain
- Downhill casing for maximum durability and stability under load
- Strong performance in loose, technical, and aggressive conditions
- Foldable construction for improved handling response
Torque Collective Insight
We regularly recommend a stronger casing and softer compound on the front—especially for eMTBs.
The additional weight and speed of an eMTB put far more demand through the front tyre, particularly under braking. Lighter trail casings can feel vague or unstable in comparison.
This setup—SuperSoft + Downhill casing—gives a noticeably more planted, predictable front end. It’s a confidence upgrade more than anything else.
