Ergon SM E-Mountain Sport Men's Saddle

Ergon designed the SM E-Mountain Sport specifically around how eMTB riders actually ride — longer seated climbs, steeper gradients, and higher-impact descents than traditional trail riding demands. The result is a saddle shaped around those specific requirements, not adapted from a road or XC platform.

What It Does

Rear Support Ramp: A strongly raised rear section stabilises your position during steep, seated climbing and reduces the muscular effort needed to hold your place on the bike.
V-Shape Relief Channel: Runs the full length of the saddle, relieving pressure across the flanks and into the padded nose — particularly useful on long, technical ascents where your position shifts repeatedly.
Soft Comfort Padding: Thicker padding than performance-oriented saddles, suited to the extended seat time that eMTB riding typically involves.

Sizing & Fit

Available in Small/Medium and Medium/Large. Ergon saddle sizing is typically based on sit bone width — if you are unsure of your size, sit bone measurement cards are available in workshop. When in doubt, sizing up is generally the more comfortable choice for eMTB use.

Why Torque Collective Stock This

eMTB riders spend considerably more time seated than riders on analogue bikes, and stock saddles rarely account for that. The SM E-Mountain Sport addresses a genuine fit and comfort problem for eMTB riders with specific geometry features rather than generic padding.
