The Ergon SMC Men is the direct evolution of the best-selling SMC4, developed to deliver improved seating comfort for male riders across trail, enduro, and eMTB riding. Ergon redesigned the contact area geometry to better suit male sit-bone anatomy, reducing pressure and fatigue on longer days in the saddle without sacrificing the freedom of movement that technical riding demands.

What It Does

The SMC replaces the SMC4 with a refined contact zone shaped specifically for male anatomy. The gender-optimised geometry supports the sit bones correctly, helping to reduce pressure build-up during extended descents and back-to-back enduro-style stages. Orthopaedic comfort foam padding is tuned to balance pedalling efficiency with enough compliance to absorb trail chatter on rougher terrain.
