Ergon SMC Sport Gel Men's MTB Saddle

The Ergon SMC Sport Gel is the direct successor to Ergon's best-selling SMC4, designed to deliver genuine trail comfort for male riders across all-mountain and enduro riding. Ergon have developed the SMC with gender-optimised contact geometry — shaped specifically to suit male sit bone positioning — while keeping enough freedom of movement for technical, active riding positions.

What It Does

The SMC combines orthopaedic comfort foam with strategically placed gel pads to manage pressure across longer rides. The microfibre cover adds durability and grip, while the nylon composite shell balances stiffness and flex underfoot. CrMo rails keep it compatible with a wide range of seatpost clamps and dropper posts.
