Bluegrass Armour Lite Body Armour

The Armour Lite is built for riders who want meaningful back protection without the bulk of a full pack. Slim-fit and light enough to wear under a jersey, it disappears on long climbing sections while still delivering EN 1621-2 Level 1 certified back protection when you need it.

What It Does

The Armour Lite uses a 3-layer EVA full back protector as its core, wrapped in a combination of stretch mesh ergonomic fabric and open mesh panels for breathability. The slim-fit construction keeps it close to the body so it moves with you rather than against you — useful on technical trails where unwanted movement becomes a distraction. It is also neck brace compatible, making it a practical choice for riders who run a neck brace but want to keep kit weight and bulk to a minimum.

Sizing Guide

Bluegrass size the Armour Lite using three body measurements. A = chest width (measured across the back), B = chest circumference, C = waist circumference. All measurements in centimetres.

Small: A: 40–44 cm | B: 84–90 cm | C: 73–79 cm
Medium: A: 44–48 cm | B: 91–97 cm | C: 80–86 cm
Large: A: 48–52 cm | B: 98–104 cm | C: 87–93 cm
X-Large: A: 52–56 cm | B: 105–111 cm | C: 94–100 cm

If you are between sizes, consider how you prefer to wear body armour — directly against the skin or over a base layer — and size up accordingly for a more comfortable fit over kit.
