Crankbrothers Guardian Handguards – Trail Protection Without Cockpit Clutter

The Crankbrothers Guardian Handguards are designed to shield your hands from overgrowth, tight brush, and cold winds on rugged trails. Available in two mounting configurations — Integrated and Universal — so you can choose the setup that suits your cockpit and riding style.

What It Does

  • Protects hands from branches, overgrowth, and wind on technical or overgrown trails
  • Available in two fitment options to suit different handlebar setups
  • Keeps the cockpit tidy by minimising unnecessary clamp hardware

Technical Insight

Integrated (CRB-16959): Mounts directly to the inner lock ring of your grips using a locking collar system. Designed for easy installation and removal without adding extra clamps to the bar.

Universal (CRB-16958): Features a quick-release attachment that clamps to the handlebar, offering broad compatibility and the same clean cockpit result without requiring compatible grips.

Sizing & Fit

Available as Integrated or Universal fit — both in black. The Integrated version requires grips with a compatible inner lock ring. If you are unsure which grip system you run, the Universal option is the safer choice. Contact us if you need help confirming compatibility with your current setup.

Why Torque Collective Stock This

Essex trails can get overgrown fast, and cold-wind exposure on eMTBs — where speeds are higher and effort lower — makes hand protection genuinely useful across more of the year. The Guardian offers a practical, low-clutter solution whether you are running a tidy cockpit on a trail bike or managing a busy bar on a full-suspension eMTB.
